How to clean interior?

I just recently bought an 06 white TL. I don't know what to use to clean the dash. It is black and when I wipe off with a clean damp cloth, it leaves white streaks. What should I use to clean and condition the dash, and also what should I clean my leather seats with? Thanks!

Thats a mystery for sure......
Thats really the safest way to clean it, with just a damp cloth. Occasionally, I will add a little cleaner to it.
As for leather products, Mothers makes a killer one. Reflections Leather care is great. Theres also online favs like 303, Four Star, Poorboys Leather Stuff, Optimum.....

There are a number of products for maintaining your interior. For the dash, there's Aerospace 303, Vinylex, Zaino Z-9 and PB's Natural Look Dressing. Take look at Pinnacle and Wolfgang also. Most of these previously named manufacturers have products to care for your leather seats. Four Star, Sonus, Megs and Mothers also have cleaners and conditioners for your leather seats. The latter two can be purchased OTC. You can also use the search feature and there are many threads regarding this topic.

Have a 04 TL with Navi. Black and camel. Had no idea it would be so tough to keep clean.

Can you buy one product for both the dash and leather? I used cheap armor all and it faded my black dash. I am going to throw out that crap today as well as their leather product which I've also used.

When I am cleaning the inside of my car I am usually in a big hurry. Is there a single product I can buy to do everything inside the car without fading the dash or ruining the leather?

Please let me know. Thanks.

Nothing is going to really "condition" sealed leather, and thats the beauty of 'sealed" leather. Its already somewhat protected. It does provide enhancing though.....

IF you are in that much of a rush, I'd use 303 Aerospace Protectant on both, but ideally you should at least use 303 on your dash and vinyl parts, and a true leather cleaner/conditioner product on the leather surfaces.

You spent $25K or whatever, on the vehicle... the least you can do is take a few minutes extra to do the cleaning and detailing properly.

If you're an individual who has little time or no time to dedicate for upkeep, I have to question your choice of exterior color (NBP). Yes, it is a definite head jerker - but it's just a bitch to keep it that way. I can't think of an all in one product that will protect, clean and condtion. See my previous post about some of products available OTC. 303 or Vinylex for your interior trim and dash. For leather care, you will need a cleaner and a conditioner - Lexol, Megs, Mothers are available OTC. The other names (Four Star, PB, Zaino, etc.) you see mentioned are available online through most of the auto detail sites.

At the time, I did not realize how much work it was going to be. The black/camel combination is tough to keep my clean.

Since my lease is ending, I am now looking at an RL and thinking of either silver/black or desert mist (gold) / black.

Which exterior color do you think is easier to keep clean?

I think the silver (TL exterior) hides it more and is not that noticeable. Doesn't the RL have 2 or 3 different silver exteriors?

Yes, there is a light color silver and then a darker color silver. Which one would be easier?

Meteor, celestial, or lakeshore silver?
