help with polish

well i was reading all this therads about polishing..but i was wondering if you can polish your car by hand and will get the same results i guess?..and then wax...well my plan is..

-wash
-clay
-polish
-wax

is that right?, and can i do all that by hand? is going to be my first time so im hoping to get good results..not perfect but good. and wat kind of producs do you guys recommend to buy? at any local shop ofcourse.

you can spot polish by hand, but to polish out the whole car by hand will take forever and your hands are going to hurt really bad...is the car brand new....if you dont have a machine to polish with, try an (aio) all in one product....good results can be had by hand....but a machine will make it look thats much better with less time and hurt on your hands....
