Help for a Coworker – Drove over spilled paint

So I arrived at work today, and my pissed off coworker tells me to come to check out his silver 2G Altima. Apparently he had driven over some spilled bright green paint last night without knowing it. This morning he found out and it is pretty much dried up. It’s located only on the front passenger wheel. It is covering 75% of the alloy rim and tire. There is also some minimal splatter on the fender, side of the car, rotor, caliper. Any suggestions for how to go about cleaning this? Thanks for your input! I’ll see if my coworker will let me take pics. He’s pretty embarrassed and pissed right now.

I'm new at this whole detailing thing, but I would probably try a clay bar? I'd think that would remove most, if not all of it?

Anyone else..?

He's not sure. He said he'll drive by the scene and see if there's a can there.

I would hit the wheels up with a hi pressure washer first off......Unfortunately, being on the wheels, and wheels heat up, its rather important to get it off as soon as possible before the paint actually gets in pores and adheres. Another important reason why we folks should apply some sort of protection to wheels!.

first try water only, it can be latex paint and easily wash off. Hi pressure may be needed. If that doesn't work, a mix of citrus cleaner and claybar should help get the paint off the car.
