Hand wax, or Orbital buffer?

I own a black 1st gen CL and my ride is long overdue for a waxing/polishing. Do most of you guys wax/polish by hand? I was thnking of buy a low-speed orbital buffer to do the job...do you have any opinions or suggestions for me? Any advice would be helpful...

BTW, I've never seen Zaino available here in Toronto...could someone find some for me?

I've always thought about gettting an orbital buffer, but waxes like Zaino seem to go on and come off so easily that I haven't found a need for one yet.

I'm sure others will have their opinions as well...

Best buffer is a random buffer. They are not expensive either. I won't use them, but I know people who swear by them

I actually enjoy doing it by hand.

Orbital and Random the same? Most random I see are "random orbital buffers"

Hmm, if Zaino really works so well (easy-on, easy-off), then I may just save the money and try to order the stuff online!! But because I'm lazy, I may just end up with the buffer all the same
Thanks for the replys.

Two types:

Orbital - good for home users, DIYers

I recommend the Porter Cable 7424 or 7336. Excellent results. Can be purchased at Lowes stores or Coastal Tool on the web for around $100-$125. Requires polishing/buffing pads available through the web.

Rotary - only for the professional, can cause major swiriling and buring of the paint/clear if not experienced.
