Ground effects...

I know this is not an Acura related question but I thought there would be some nice folks to help me out with this one. A friend of mine just bought a 2004 left over Saab because of the great deals they were having. It has black rubber or plastic ground effects. We were wondering what to put on it to keep it black. When it rains and the door jam water runs down it, it stains.
Any suggestions?
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Move to Wash & Wax, since I don't know how to move it to a Saab forum
