Goo Gone gel spray

I love this stuff! It works as advertised. I had this nasty tar/bird crap looking stain on my front lip spoiler and it wouldn't come off after a car wash, Meguiar's quick detailer, or any amount of wiping so I was wondering what the heck it actually was. It looked like it was permanently ingrained in the paint or something. I remembered reading about goo gone for tar and bug removal so I thought I'd pick some up.

I took a trip to Canadian Tire at lunch and picked up their gel spray bottle and it worked wonders. A couple of sprays and a few good wipes and the stain was gone! I highly recommend this for any stubborn stain on your TSX.

Goo Gone is awesome!! I bought a bottle of the spray a couple years ago cause I had some tree sap get on the windshield of my old car and it worked great!!

Is it abrasive? How do you treat the spot after you used goo gone? Quick detailer?

I don't think it's abrasive. I just sprayed it on, let it settle for minute or so and wiped it off with a cotton towel. The directions do say not to let it dry on painted surfaces, but other than that there wasn't any other type of warning.

What I do after using different chemicals is to also wipe it with a damp cloth, just to get all the extras off, then dry it up with the dry cloth. My .02
