Glass Protectant

I have several questions regarding glass cleaning and protectant

1)What brand would you recommend?

2)Which brand stops those ugly windsheild wiper marks from appearing after having the wipers on?

2)How many coats of your preferred protectant do you apply?

I recently purchased the rainx applicant(not spray version). Though I like how it works, I was wondering would more than 2 coats be more effective.

Hmmm....good question, personally i dont use any "glass protectant". Although an occasional clay treatment will work wonders. You can also use your polish to clean it up real good. I dont think the rain-x will layer itself due to the high alcohol content....

As mentioned a good claying and/or polishing is good for keeping up glass. On the exterior glass, I use Zaino's Z2, though it's meant for paint.

Hey nick04tl, does invisible glass also repels the rain like rainx?

RainX works really well for repeling rain. A few days after I first applied it, I drove through a rainstorm without needing to use my wipers; the wind blows the rain right off the glass. It's sorta a pain in the ass to apply tho.
