Getting ready for an interior detail

Heres my plan of action for my 09 TSX:

Vacuum floormats, trunk
Quick wipe down of engine bay to pick up any dust.
Wipe down guages/center screen with damp MF
Wipe down rest of dash/console with damp MF
Wash seats with woolite, Another wipedown with damp MF to "rinse" the woolite
Clean glass with newspaper/invisible glass

I ordered some 303 and Four Star leather products. I was wondering if they leave the surfaces shiny. On the 09 TSX, the dash has a matte pattern on it and leather is the usual Acura perforated matte leather. I really like the matte look and don't really want to add any gloss to either the dash or the seats. Will the 303 or Four Star add any gloss?

i dont believe any of the products you listed will net a greasy look...however, if they do, just follow up with a dry microfibre and the greasy look will be gone...

I don't know about the four star products, but 303 will be very shiny and greasy looking at first, wipe it on and let it sit for a while, then buff/wipe off the excess, then it will give time for it to bond with the dash for the protection, and the excess which causes that shine/greasy look will be gone.

I agree with csmeance.........303 is the stuff. It's shiney when wet, but will be matte when dry. Awesome stuff!! You may want to apply more than one coat for the first application. With the hot sun most of the year in Florida, 303 is a dash saver.

I'd do woolite/water on the dash as well - then the protectant.

Guage Cluster - put some stoners on a micro fiber and the guages will sparkle.

Look for a set of interior detail brushes - usually 3 or 4 or 5 soft brushes. They are great fro nooks, crannies and crevices.

Do the clean up inside THEN vacuum as a last step. That way whatever bits and peices you disloge or track in and out of the vehicle will get swept up.
