G35 - clean, corrected, and protected
G35 - clean, corrected, and protected

This car had seen its fair share at carwashes and dealer washes, so after hearing that, I had an idea of what the condition would look like. The paint felt rough and the build up on the wheels look like it went a year without a wash.
Before pics

Headlamp started to haze.... the sun did not expose this well...

whoa

more swirls

before interior...forgot to take an after cleaning

Before

After

bad 50/50.... didn't make a tape line, but if you look hard enough, can spot some small scratches under right light

some sorta gunk

gunk gone

cleared up haze

before LSP

lettin' dry

after 10.5 hours

that's all!
Need to find ways to speed up my process... even though its not 56 hours, 10.5 is still a hefty amount of time lol. At least i'm happy with the outcome, guess that all that matters?
Good job ... can I make a couple of constructive comments? I can .. oh good ..
1) When applying the wax/sealant reduce your circular motion to about 4" ( the size of a yellow foam applicator ) and overlap the circles by 50%. This will give better coverage and a more even application. The heavy /light thicknesses of your LSP in the pix can lead to visable streaking on a darker color.
2) When doing the reflective shots from the sides etc .. let your g/f or wife take them

Pretty tough to get the time down .. our average car for the same takes 4+ hours and there is 2 of us doing it and we have been at it as a team for close to 7 years.
I use a central vac ... lot more powerful than every shop vac I tried.
I use a paint sprayer to apply external dressings on tires , wheel wells etc .. way faster.
