Frickin' Eh!

It used to be that I complained about my LSPs not lasting long enough but today it was the complete opposite. Back in early April, I slapped on a coat of Blackfire Wet Diamond topped with a coat of Collinite 845IW that was followed by a second coat several weeks later.

For those looking for ultimate protection, this is the magical elixir right here! I set about washing my car with Dawn so I could strip the protection off before I clayed and polished it for a meet on Sunday. Easier said than done. BFWD combined with 845IW is like granite on the paint. Even after washing with a very strong mixture of Dawn and water, the skin on my hands is all dried out but the paint refused to 'sheet' the water and it still beads. Now it's not as tight as it was before but still enough to be irritating.

I now have faith that this stuff really is protecting my car from stuff like UV rays, sap, bird bombs and acid rain.
