Foam your TL!!!

I found this on You Tube. I'm starting to get into this foaming business since my TL-S is black. The less scrubbing I have to do the less swirls and scratches I'll have to deal with.

You can buy foam guns numerous places .. only good if you have full shade..

Use proper wash methods and you don't get swirls.

Ok so the foam goes on then what? You still need to wash/wipe it off.

From what I have read so far is that the foam helps to loosen up the dirt on your car prior to washing with your normal soap. This means that there is less wiping and scrubbing to do. You still have to wash the car but the chances of you having to scrub off the the dirt is minimized. Therefore reducing the chance for self induced swirls and scratches. A foam gun is around $50. I am not sure yet if you can use your regular car wash soap or if you have to use the special "foam" soap advertised by the manufacturer of the foam gun.

any soap product does not actually clean anything
They act as a surfectant- a slippery layer that gets between two other surfaces- in this case dirt and the car wax- and that allows the motion of the washing to free the dirt and water rinses it away- keep the mitt clean and loaded with fresh soapy water

Just rinse the bad dirt off the car first- use a soft washing mitt- dry with microfibre cloth- leaf blower or car squeege for best results
Keep terrycloth bath towels away from the car- bad swirl and mark maker
