First time detailing

On vacation this week and bored. So i decided to detail my cars. I have been reading numerous websites. Now I don't know what to buy and where to start. I want to detail my 04 acura tl(nbp) first.

I know i need I porter cable 7424. I am still confused about the pad selections. As far as polishes I am leaning towards Optimum brand. The product seems likes it is easy to work with. I am thinking about:
Opt Polish 2
Opt Compound 2
Opt Poli-Seal

Am I goin in the right direction? Which do i use first? I was also thinking about Opt final polish. Are their any other better products that are easy to use? Also who is good supplier of these products?

Thanks

You will also need pads ..

Always start least aggressive first to see if it will work .. eg.. Opt Polish II on a white pad ... if not then Compound on a orange pad. you will need at least 1 orange pad , maybe 2 and 2/3 white pads.

Poliseal is like an AIO and does leave protection abet not that long lasting. I would follow that with a sealant like Duragloss #105 or Megs #21.

Optimum and the pads / 7424 are available at www.westcoastdetailsupply.com
