First Shot at Zaino

Well I did a half ass job with zaino on my 03 Accord because I started at 6:30 PM. Washed twice...clayed...1 coat of Z2...and the Gloss Enhancer Spray..

I can't even tell how good it looks becaues it got so dark...

I felt the surface of my car and it's not as smooth as my new TL...

For all the people that bought Zaino... give yourself ample time...

Gotta start over this weekend and clay it correctly...

Fun STUFF!

You def. need more time. When I start a fresh Zaino Job I would start about 9-10 and work till I am finished. Patience is the key with Zaino. Also I would recommend applying Z5 first over Z2. Z5 "fills" in minor scratches and gives that depth in the paint. Z2 gives that shine affect. I always start with like 2 coats of Z5 then 2 coats of Z2. And Z6 in between each coat.

Man that is alot of work. I wouldn't bother doing this on my car here in Canada becasue our weather is so harsh.

Personally, I break up my car (you know what I mean). I've started my winter prep. This past Sunday, I only had time for my rear bumper, trunk and rear window (wash, clay, wash, polish, z2/zfx). Also threw on another coat of Z2/zfx on my hood, 2 front qtrs and front bumper (which was prep'd a few weeks ago). The rest of the car still has some NXT on it which I'll remove as I have time during the next few weeks.

Do I need to do something to get the 1st coat of polish off or can I just wash the car and start with the clay process...

you can wash with dishwashing soap to remove old wax. .. I think that's what you're asking for.
