Exterior Windshield Cleaning

What do people think is the best way to do regular cleaning of the windshield (without washing the whole car)? Also, what do people use on road trips since I'm a bit hesitant to use the buckets at the gas station on my new car?

Best hope at the gas station is to pull out the squeegy, walk away from the car, shake off the excess water really thoroughly, and then use it ONLY on the front window. On the front window it won't run off onto the paint like it will on the back.

I would just use stoner invisible glass first on all the windows and then rain-x that windows afterwards. Works like a charm =)

i always have a squeegy in the trunk... i use it to dry the windows after washing the car or to help clear light snow off the car in the winter (will leave the window dry too instead of just clearing the snow). i also have a spray bottle (bought at the Dollar Store) that is full of water + vinegar. this way i can clean the windows whenever i like without any run-off...just fill a spray bottle with whatever product you like and keep it with you. if you're using the spray bottle, you might also want to keep a (microfiber) towel in the trunk as well -- will be easier to wipe off compared to a squeegy if you're not soaking the window.

I use Stoner's Invisible Glass. IMO, it's THE BEST. Remember to wipe with newspaper to prevent any streaking.
