2 weeks remain folks, only 2 weeks. I remember starting this program late June, and its already the middle of July? I did speak with Eurow reps yesterday who informed me, that a 50% increase is likely 8/1/08.

I am thinking of order 2 sets - 1 for myself and 1 as a gift.

How much is shipping for 2 sets to 94607? Thanks!

Great kit for the money! Worth it for the waffle-weave alone.

By the way, this may be a silly question, but how do I keep the stone protector grid from floating to the top? I sort of thought it would snap into place in the bottom of the bucket.

exceldetail, I'm gonna be ordering one from you PRONTO... I was just saying to myself... I need to pick up some stuff to wash my car with. I'm happy to say I don't have to go to Autozone and get my stuff there.

One thing first... could you recommend some other car care products for my NBP? Could you combine ship them to me? Not 100% sure what I need, since I'm fairly new to this. Thanks!

PM will work great so I don't flood your thread.

This is a steal! If I were just starting out, I would have definitely started with something like this.

I'd be happy to stuff that case with whatever you want.
Make a quick list of what you need and I will recommend some stuff, as well as others can offer opinions......

Sweet.

I need two of these kits.

I need all the basics since I have nothing right now. Car wash, interior cleaning (303), leather seat care, tire cleaner, rim cleaner, window cleaner. Thats about all I know. Please let me know! Looking to get this ASAP. My NBP needs a wash.

As for wax, do spray ons work? If not, please recommend something. I also need all the right stuff to apply.

Car wash, Optimum Car Wash
interior cleaning (303), 303 makes a spot/carpet cleaner, and vinyl cleaner. If your looking for something for all of the interior, might I suggest einszett Cockpit Premium? 303 Protectant is known for its protective qualities also.
leather seat care, Surf City VooDoo Leather care, Four Star Ult Leather Cond, Duragloss Leather Twins etc....pick one, they are all great products.
tire cleaner, rim cleaner, Four star Wheel Gel, Duragloss All Wheel Cleaner, Surf City Beyond Steel All Wheel Cleaner etc. Again, they are all very good.
window cleaner. Try Duragloss AquaWax!!
Thats about all I know. Please let me know! Looking to get this ASAP. My NBP needs a wash.

As for wax, do spray ons work? They work better if you have a base coat of protection.
If not, please recommend something. Four Star Ult Paint Protectant, Duragloss 105, Danase Sealant. Follow up after washes with Duragloss AquaWax, or Four Star Spray Wax.
I also need all the right stuff to apply.

^ DAMN

That stuff sounds expensive. Why don't you start me out with these products:
- Optimum Car Wash 32oz
- 303 Protectant 16oz
- Four Star Ultimate Leather Cleaner Gel 18oz. spray
- Duragloss #821 All Wheel Cleaner 22oz
- Duragloss Glass cleaner (work well?)
- Four Star Ultimate Spray Wax Plus Boosted with Polycharger 18oz

How do those products sound?

Can I get a shipped price for all those + 2 kits to 60173? PM me a price if you want to give me discount

Thanks!

I highly recommend you use a base protectant before the Spray Wax.

I didn't get one of those King Leo mints this time

But I've purchased from you several times, Patrick!

Just kidding, I love the kit.... though the mint would have been nice. They're good, and I feel weird askin this, but where do you get them from?

That list is pretty good but AFAIK, I don't remember 303 Aerospace Protectant being used as an interior cleaner. However, it is one of the best interior products to protect your interior. I personally just use an APC cut 10:1 to clean my interior and dress with PB's Natural Look or 303 AP.

I would go with Four Star UPP or Optimum OS. You won't have to apply it every time you wash but if you will have to apply it every time you cleanse your paint of your LSP or your LSP fades. To be quite honest, you can get definitely just work with FS UPP or Optimum OS. Layering with the wax is preferential but it achieves a different and interesting look to those who actually notice it.

^ Denzil... you use a lot of acronyms. Here are some that I don't understand: APC, LSP.

Also I don't quite understand this:

So I don't apply it everytime... I got that part. How do I know when my LSP is fading? To clean it, do I use dish soap instead of car wash soap? When you say I can just work with _____, does that just mean those products are good enough?

Thanks

What Denzil is saying:
APC: All Purpose Cleaner
LSP: Last Stage Protectant

As for applying sealants every time you wash? I recommend using a Spray Sealant/Protectant with every drying stage. You have to swipe the surface, youmay as well add protection to it. Plus you add lubricants which help deter marring. You dont have to apply a traditional sealant or wax with every wash but the spray sealant idea is a no brainer in my book.
However, anytime you spot repair, or cleanse the entire car with either a polish or non abrasive polish (cleaner), you remove the protection. So Denzil is saying that when you would HAVE to apply a LSP (sealant).
As for
Layering with the wax is preferential but it achieves a different and interesting look to those who actually notice it.
Some folks like the look of "wax" (Carnaubas) vs. Synthetics/Polymers (sealants). Some folks (like myself) dont/cant notice a difference between the two, or the difference between 2 layers vs. 5 layers.
I have always felt "layering" waxes was sort of a waste of time, as the petroleum carriers used in waxes to make them user friendly, ultimately break the pervious layer apart. Thus its not like your putting pancakes on top of pancakes (like synthetics do), but more like mayonaisse on top of mayonnaise. It just incorporates itself into the previous layer.

Yeah, I think you guys will eventually get used to all my acronyms but I have to remember that I am on an Acura forum and not a detailing forum. I usually frequent a few detailing forums just about every day.

One of many indicators that your LSP is fading is the lack of beading/sheeting of water from your paint's surface. Of course, that isn't the only determining factor that your LSP is gone but it really gives you a good idea. For me, I like to keep some consistent beading/sheeting on my car so it makes future washes a breeze.

There are a few ways to cleanse your paint. You can do it as Patrick suggested or there are a few car washes out there such as Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Gloss that will strip your LSP no problem with the correct dilution. That stuff is really nice.

Patrick has given you some great advice. Using a spray sealant after every wash is a great idea as it will "refresh" whatever LSP you have on your vehicle and will extend the time between when you have to reapply your tradition sealant and/or wax.

LoL, I just realized that a sentence from my previous post didn't really make sense. The sentence should have said, "You won't have to apply it every time you wash but you will have to apply it every time you cleanse your paint of your LSP or your LSP fades."

Hey exceldetail, I received all the stuff today! The kit looks awesome!

One thing, I paid for the FS Ultimate Leather Cleaner Gel but didn't receive anything. It shows that I paid for it on the invoice.

Please PM me.

Unless you plan on ordering this kit within the next 70 minutes, the price jumps tomorrow to $29.99.
I wanted to also thank all of you on Azine and elsewhere (if you have stumbled upon this thread) for participating. It was a very successful sales campaign for Eurow Corp. I sold more in the last 5 weeks for Euro then they had in the last 52 weeks!
