Question Edge 2000 pads and adapter?

Is anyone using the Edge 2000 pads and adapters, and what do you think of them? I am looking into getting a PC and am undecided as to which one to get. Also, Autogeek.com is offering a HD version of the PC. Has anyone used/seen this one, and do you think it has any serious value over the standard tool?

Thanks

Haven't used it, but from what I've read, it's equipped with a 25 ft. 16 guage cord. I have a 7336 from Lowe's for $109 and have had it for about 3 years with no problems. I couldn't tell you if it's worth the extra $20. Edge pads have gotten some very favorable reviews at the Detail City forums. Doesn't require a backing plate, the pads are double sided and features a quick change adapter. I've been using Erasure Pads from Exceldetail and they work just great.

I currently have and use the 2000 system and love it. Wouldn't even think of going back to the hook and look velcro backing plate system. With the 2000 system the pads are securly fastend and don't risk comming off and causing problems. Plus you get 1 pad that can be used on both sides instead of just 1 like the other systems. I've achieved excellent results using this system and the different pads without any troubles or problems.
