Meguiars Water Magnet waffleweave microfiber drying towel for the paint and glass. I use a normal ctton towel for the wheels, tires and underbody.

I use the exact same combo. I have recently purchased an additional waffle weave drying towel due to the Meg's Water Magnet not holding enough water and streaking before I finish the whole car. Another thing worth mentioning, which is as good as any towel, is taking the nozzle off the hose and letting the water sheet off the car right before drying.

I use a MF waffle weave 24 X 30 (not megs 22 X 30) and don't have a problem with the towel holding water. I can finish the entire exterior surface area, no streaking with one towel. I use a 16 X 25 WW for the all the jambs and underbody. 16 X 16 MF towels for the wheels. Sheeting is pretty much a practice with a lot of the folks here.

I always recommend an associate towel in conjunction with a larger towel. This helps in minimizing any streaking. Use the larger one for your initial pass, and follow up with the smaller one to remove and possible droplets not absorbed.

Try the Vroom MF drying towel from your local Target. I use it along with a smaller Meguiars MF towel and have no complaints. I actually switched over from the Absorber due to better results from the MF towel.

Sheeting the water off with a steady stream of water makes the biggest difference in drying IMO.

Have been useing the 12" California Squeege since I bought one a few weeks ago. Then finish up with the Absorber.

Any reason none of you use it?? Really fast for the bulk water with none of the blemishes to the paint as I had feared.

I used to use that..not all that good. What i mean is...its only good when the surface is wet. If you have spots that are dry and u go over with the squeege, the silicon tends to rub on the car and sometimes leads marks on it.

My sis recommended Sonus Ultimate Drying Towel, which i now use. I really love how it sucks up all the water. It also really a big and absorbs alot of water.
