Just got my new 2002 CL type S in silver two weeks ago, and yesterday i noticed my first small dent on the passenger side. Some moron opened their door too wide and now my brand new baby has a bump on it. Is there any way to get these out yourself, because its hardly noticalbe unless you see it in the light, or can someone give an estimate of some places that hammer out small dents (preferably in the LA area). Thanks!

 

Don't know about LA area, but we have specialists that travel to car lots in our area and rub out dents. They use a rod they stick down the door panel and then they rub the dent out from the inside. It is pretty cool to watch and the dent is completely gone, big or small. They only charge a couple of bucks per dent. Lot easier than a body shop.

 

When I first bought my car, the dealer offered to take out the first two dings for free. Check back with them to see if they have a deal such as this. That's the way I'd go.
