Did some touch up paint...
I had some of the white touch up paint from acura, decided to fill in some nicks i had this weekend...
The first pic is 2 smaller nicks by the hood from rocks on the freeway.
the second is my rear bumper, someone backed into me and it was the size of about a quarter.
Ive never done in, and probably should have done a little more research before attempting.
Should i leave it be? Or do you guys have any tips to clean it up?

yeah that's rough man.
i'm more a fan of dr.colorchip...blends much better IMO.
which paint pen did you have? just the all in one, or the base coat and top/clear coat version?
there is really not much you can do at this point IMO.

I just got into super cleaning mode. Were having especially warm weather in cleveland, and last weekend i went on a 3 hour cleaning bender on the car.

well don't be too hard on yourself. ALL of our cars have battle scars...it's what gives it character.
no car is perfect, just gotta deal with the little annoyances sometimes.

^true.
but, in time, i will develop new scars, just like i did on my old paint. really nothing you can do about it short of wrapping the entire car in bubble wrap and never driving it.

OP-the bumper will continue to deteriorate with time. the paint has been compromised (ie cracked)...it'll eventually start flaking off. not even an aspec lip would cover up all of the paint touch ups. if it bothers you enough...wait until it gets really bad (or perhaps someone will tag your bumper hard enough-not that one would want this to happen, but it seems like certain things happen for a reason) to get it replaced and repainted.
those types of battle scars in plain sight...would drive me nuts. rock chips...i learn to live with. i'll touch up the bigger ones.
my MDX has a few battle scars c/o of the previous owner...but i dont' obsess over them. on my TL ...different story.

For touch up paint application, I wouldn't use the provided brush in the future. Use a bunch of toothpicks and lightly fill in the chip, layer by layer. It doesn't do anything in terms of paint match but makes the DIY repair job less noticeable. The toothpick allows way more precision and you usually won't have all that excess paint around the chip.
