Detailing the interior question.

Hey everyone, thanks for all the responses. I also wanted to ask how you cared for the interior. What product do you use? Or, do you use anything? I've always been afraid to use armor all or similar products.

What about leather cleaner/conditioner?

I have the black and beige interior TL Type S.

thanks for all the help.

Mader, I've had success with Tuff Stuff for interior cleaning on carpets and as an overall cleaner. 303 Sealant is great for sun exposed areas, like the dash. For the dash, there's some great stuff from ExcelDetail-talk to Patrick and check out his website. I've found that the Zaino cleaner and conditioner (Z9 & Z10) smells great. The stuff works good too.

Im a huge fan of einszett Cockpitt Premium cleaner for everything from the seats forward......(oh, include door panels)
Seats generally get a weekly wipedown with a water moistened MF. Leather conditioner about every 8-10 weeks......If you can keep the seats cleaned with just a water dampened MF, theres no need to use a "cleaner". Vacuum as needed.

For plastic/vinyl/weatherstrip:
Meguiars #40 Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner / ConditionerV
-It very effectively dissolves and removes contaminents, and leaves a darkened, rich look, without being shiny.

For leather:
Meguiar's Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner and Conditioner
-Rub it in like skin lotion with a terry cloth, and then buff it off with a micro-fiber towel. Once you've buffed it off, it won't leave an oily residue.

For carpet:
Turtle Wax Oxy Power Out Carpet Cleaner
-So far, it has successfully removed every carpet stain I've ever tried it on.

For cleaning the interior plastic parts I use a mixture of water and soap. I then go over it with Aerospace 303 protectant and it looks great. For the floor mats I use the same mixture of water and soap and give them a good scrub. For the leather I used Zaino Z9 leather soft cleaner and Z-10 leather in a bottle. I do this every 2 months and my interior looks like new still. Sure my car is only a year old but it looks better then when I bought it. In between cleanings I use a swiffer sweeper to dust the interior.
