1. wash/dry
2. clay
3. poorboy SSR 2.5 in needed areas buffed by PC with orange LC pad
4. Blackfire: Gloss Enhancing Polish buffed by PC with white LC pad
5. Blackfire: Midnight Sun Carnauba Paste Wax by hand

i skipped the sealant this time cus i wanted to really see how the blackfire wax looked...i think sealant on a black car doesn't look as glossy

looks good, the tips on the mufflers need to be polished, they are starting to get discolored....

you should beable to achieve just as wet a look with a sealant as you can with carnuba....you could top a sealant with carnuba for that little extra wetness, or you should give the danase wet glaze a shot...total wet look with wet glaze....

he is using a carnuba for his lsp, its good protection, but it wont last as long as some good synthetic sealant....

i normally do a coat of sealant b4 the wax but this time i decided to skip it...i normally use poorboys sealant which works pretty well...but this was my first time using the blackfire wax

and this wax should be able to protect the car for a good 2-3 months...maybe even longer, as i do not drive this car much

and on the tips, i thought that's how they normally look with the Ti tips
i might try and polish them tho

yea, they turn that color from the heat...you can polish them out in a few minutes with some mothers or some other metal polish you have laying around.....

There is a good possibility those tips , if after market , are supposed to look like that . It was a trend with the tuners for a while .. lots of them on e-bay like that.

There isn't enough heat back there to turn SS like that.

Thats what is refered to as "burn't tips" they are supposed to look like that. No rubbing will get that out. Looks like HKS TI cans.

7oz doesn't seem like it would last long...but i think i'll be waxing my car only once every two months so it should last awhile
