Detailed 04 BMW 545i

2004 BMW 545i with 80k on it.

Client wanted 2 step paint correction and full interior clean-up

Process:
M95 on Megs yellow pad and some places purple pad with rotary
M205 on yellow pad with DA
NXT 2.0 wax on black pad (DA)
HD 4:1 on engine
APC+ on seats and doors
Interior detailer on dashboard
Leather seats with leather lotion
NXT Glass cleaner on windows
Exhaust tips with 0000 Wool and Mothers polish

The car was really dirty, so I washed it and then took some pictures. (Not a lot because didn't have time)

BEFORE

DURING

This is basically how the whole car was (clear coat was extremely hard for some reason)

Great looking, now!
I understand the reason for car mats, but those thick rubber dogs in a Bimmer? They're butt ugly even clean!
Paint looks nicely polished, really looks super clean.
Something funky with the paint color on the doors, in a couple pics. Anyone else see it?

Thanks

And yes, it was repainted in a shop, door and hood and fender. Those were especially a pain to detail, because of the aftermarket clear coat shops use. It is super hard unlike the factory one.

The repaint looks really off in the picture. Is it as bad in persons?
Nonetheless, good job on the detail.

It isn't as bad as you see on pictures, but you sure will notice the difference.

And thank you.

Thank you. And it probably was, because owner bought it and gave it to me to detail. The car was from NY previously lol

Nice detail job, but the paint color is way off!! They should have at least blended the paint in the two doors to make it look less obvious. I would take it back to the body shop and make them repaint it.

Door color is well off and catches the eye more since the painter didnt blow the paint over to the rear door, TUT TUT.

Nice work on the detailing.

Nice work! And yeah the paint is way off.
I'd imagine it was hard to match because of the metallic flakes, but still, the bodyshop could have done a better job blending it in.
