Never knew they had detailing classes until I heard Meguiars hosted a few in Southern California.

Good luck man. Have you looked online for video tutorials because I think it's gonna be hard if not impossible to find detailing classes.

Houston needs a 'great' mobile detailer. The ones I have used previously were just so-so.

I do a half detail. this just includes wash, dry, clay, wax.
PM me if you're interested.

I'm in the process of learning how to polish. when I feel comfortable cleaning up swirl marks, I'll then start charging for paint correction.

I am also looking for a good mobile detailer in NW Houston (Spring). Can anyone suggest one please.
Browsing through HoustonImports forum, heard about a user (RoadRage) and he had good review. Could not find any contact info on him though. Any help or other suggestions much appreciated?
Sorry OP, if you feel I am thread-jacking.
TIA.

Road Rage is one of the best in Houston. You also have Nemo that does a $50 exterior detail which includes Wax, Polish, and Clay. It may seem very cheap with cheap materials, but I've seen his work at its very good. I may bring it by to him soon and show you the results, and my car is probably has the worst swirls and scratches ever.

Get a weekend job or part time job at a high end body shop. I worked in the automotive field for 7-8 years, that's how I learned. Learning hands on from experienced pro's + lots of practice/work is the best way.

It's really an art. Not too many "auto workers" are highly skilled in this area, and the guys that know a lot might not be willing to teach you everything.
