Decent sealer or wax for CBP

I recently used the Meguiars microfiber correction kit to remove lots of the swirls from my paint and this did a great job, there still are some fine swirls but nothing serious.

Probably in the next couple of weeks i want to use a good polish to remove rest of the minor swirls and a good wax for protection and deep gloss shine. I plan to upkeep with Megs UQD.

What products and pads would some of you detail gurus recommend?? My DA is the Megs GV110 I think...

Optimum Opti-Bond is good stuff. Or you can just use Meguiar's Sealer 2.0, with the Meguiar's use it on a blue pad. The Opitmum is hand application only.

I'm a little bias now cause of the results I have on my NBP, but Blackfire Wet Diamond all the way.

A couple of really good options are Meguiars #21 or Duragloss #105 ... both are sealants and are user friendly. As with any sealant .. apply very thin.

Boutique isn't always best. Looks or life wise.

i use fireglaze as a polish/sealant and as a wax, seems to do a pretty good job of protecting against acid rain, bug stains, and any other harsh contaminant from the road or where ever. it can also be used on your windows, just try not to get this stuff on plastic or rubber. and as always, apply in the shade

its a little pricey but well worth it

Thats a finishing pad ... has some cut to it, not intended for applying a sealant. Its also a 7" pad .. kind of big.

What would you suggest for applying sealant and wax

OK just spent some time on Auto geek , What is your thought of mixing Duragloss 105 and the bonding agent 601. I will make a small batch so I can get 3 cars done in one day with a Lake County blue pad.

I thought 601 was used UNDER the 105 but I see some mixing it in a 4:1 ratio.

Myself I have never needed it .. I pre wipe the surface with a 50/50 mix of rubbing alcohol & water then do the 105.

I've been using Blackfire Wet Diamond on my MRP. I love it!
