Cleaning the Fabric Interior

I think a greasy mechanic got a bunch of greasy dirt residue on the fabric material around where the seat belt connects to the door pillar. Before I attempt to remove it I'm worndering if anyone has any tips (special cleaners, techniques, etc.) for getting this out. The last thing I want to do is make it worse...

Thanks for the suggestion.

I actually found this stuff I had in my closet called "Gonzo". It's a clear liquid in a bottle used to clean fabric. I just squeezed a little onto a soft dish cloth and blotted the dirty area (didn't even rub), and it basically lifted the dirt right off. Great stuff...

Glad that it came out. I hate stuff like that on a new car!
