I have yet to do this on my car. My main question is what exactly do we need to cover to protect it from water/cleaning products?? Also, what have you guys used to clean it? Just spray some cleaning stuff and hose it off?? Thanks in advance

 

Simple green and water.

Wet sponge and wipe away. I'm too paranoid to spray water in the engine.
