what would you recommend for cleaning and protecting the dash of he TSX?

303 aerospace protectant...... no question. Do the TSX have the same rubber piece above the steering wheel as the RSX ?

 

Aerospace is good, but I prefer Vinylex because it's shinier, and I like shiny things.... much like a 2 year old. Though, two caveats. You have to apply it often to any surface that you actually touch regularly as the spot will dull the more you touch it. (I have a spot on the side of the door that I do every week, it's where I rest my arm.) And two, some despise the smell, I personally like it.

 

what about general cleaning of the vinyl. My car seldom has anyone but me in it, so there is really just dust and some oil from hands.

Are these products mentions available at something like autozone cause I live in a small town.

I've used Zaino's Liquid Leather. You can apply to leather and vinyl. It's not the easiest to put on, but I did notice a much deeper and glossier black.

 

What if you really like that matte look like when the car's new? What's best for that?

 

I use a 50/50 mix of windex and water to clean. I also use 303 on occasion for UV protection.
