Clean rubber pipping and exterior plastic?

Hey...

I'm just wondering if there is any product that is safe for cleaning the rubber pipping that surrounds the sunroof (exterior), around the doors, etc. Last time I waxed the car, some of it hit the rubber and I can't get it off....so would like something that I can use there. Suggestions? Whatever the product, it for sure needs to be safe to use on rubber since I don't want to dry it out and cause it to crack prematurely.

Also, is there anything I can use to clean the plastic parts - i.e. at the very bottom of the windshield, below the wipers....mudflaps, etc. I've gotten some wax residue there as well and regular car soap will not get it off.

That'll teach me for wanting to do a super-fast layer of wax when I was in a rush and exhausted!! Arggg..definitely wasn't careful enough!!

303 Aerospace. It can be found at "Van and Truck World" and "Autozone" I think, we don't have many - if any - up here.

You can use it to rrejuvenate the rubber seals on the doors, clean tonneau covers, plastic trim, vinal trim. etc...etc.. it is great stuff.. Highly reccomended

Try any of these products:

Wax Blaster, Wax Remover
Black Again Exterior Trim Restorer
Mother's Back to Black

Finsish up and maintain with a coat of 303 Aerospace Protectant.

Anyone ever used this?

Thanks for the suggestions so far! 303 is available from a distributor here in the GTA, but don't really feel like ordering and then paying for S&H. I picked up some Meguiar's 'Mirror Glaze Professional - Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner #40'. Anybody have any experience with this? Just wondering how it compares to the Mother's product mentioned above..... that is another option readily available here.

Opinions?

Also, since it says it can be used on vinyl - I guess I can use it on the dash and vinyl parts of the doors (interior) too.

Arg - sorry for the edit..... but is 303 only a conditioner/protectant, or is it also a cleaner? Meaning - is there a step prior to using 303 to actually clean the rubber surface...or it does both?

The three products I listed are specifically designed to remove wax residue from plastic. I'm not sure if a regular vinyl conditioner will give you the results you are looking for. I would certainly follow up with an exterior trim protectant after using the wax removers.
