Classic Leather smell

I've had two cars now with leather (I know it's not all leather!); Acura Legend and Acura TL. Neither of them have what I would call the 'classic leather smell'. This is the smell you get when you walk into a leather goods store, or sit on a really high quality leather sofa.

I believe the smell is not really the leather as such, but the chemicals used to clean, dye, and generally process it. But regardless, there is a 'classic leather' smell that I love.

Is there any one leather cleaning product out there that has this smell? I've been reading the forums and come across various products, and people say they like the smell, but they don't say what the smell is exactly.

Thanks!

zaino Z10 ("leather in a bottle") has a very strong leather scent to it...i really like it. not sure if it's the classic scent you are looking for, but it's hard to tell unless you try it.

z10 is only a conditioner though...not a cleaner

I use this strictly for smell: http://www.griotsgarage.com/search.jsp?searchtext=11150

Their "leather care" also brings out the smell, although it doesn't seem to moisturize the leather as well as some other products.

Thanks! I ordered the Z10 conditioner and the Z9 cleaner from their online store! I did see this one cautionary tale when googling the product:

Moral of the story, NEVER apply a product directly to the interior of the car. Always spray on/apply to an applicator or MF, then wipe on. This goes for the dash, the windows, the seats, the console, etc...

i think it also should go without saying that you don't dump the product on your leather seats and then walk away for 5-10 min either. that's just asking for problems. i am guessing whatever type of "carrier" solvent or something in the product caused the markings due to extreme concentration in those areas.
