Cherry Wet Wax (to the Zaino Users)
just wondering if any Zaino users have heard and tried Cherry Wet Wax.
This wax is supposed to give that same reflective type finish as Zaino.

I have used and like Zaino, but today I did a few panels with the myriad of products I get sent for analysis. I did a fender with Meguiar's NXT, and it looked very nice, so i did the whole car over Zaino. Looked terrific. I think many of these products are indiscernible from another, and wax becomes almost a religious cult type of thing. There are many paths to Nirvana.
Cherry Wet Wax? Going to Google. News when it breaks.

OK - I read their product prospectus, and I am yawning. it is a silicone/carnauba blend with a cherry scent - there appears to be nothing unqiue about that, other than the gimmick smell and the pink color.
Between a ho-hum formula and the fact that they are rather unknown and a rather "garage" looking outfit, I cannot see abandoning the trustworthy products of the majors, who have long reputations of quality. Sorry, I'll pass.

I have not tried it. I don't see a lot of difference myself in finishes, and am more concerned about ease of use and longevity. I have sworn by Zaino the past few years, but am now switching to Meguires (sp?) NXT because it has "cleaners" in it, and because I can pick it up five minutes from my house. So far, I'm pretty happy with the NXT, but will admit that it will take a lot to match Zaino's longevity.

Never heard of it. You're more likely to get people who've tried it in the Car detailing section...moving.

Cherry Wet Wax is a great one step and been around for a while (Coat's is the company) - It's a cleaner/carnuba that is easy on/easy off and yes smells like cherries. A lot of detailers keep it in their arsenal as it give great wet looks with little effort (for those folks who only want it too look good fast).
Their product like is really good - they make an awesome car wash...hehe if you like that name try Vanilla Moose
