Question Carbon Grey cleanliness?

It seems to be universally accepted that Silver is the color that is easiest to keep "looking" clean. Little bits of dust, water, etc... don't seem to show up as much on silver as say...Black.

Black seems to be universally regarded as harder to keep looking clean.

So....where does the Carbon Grey color (on a TSX) fit into this equation?

It's pretty dark, so I'm leaning towards.....closer to black in cleanliness.

It might also be considered silver-ish and therefore easier to keep clean.

CG owners.......can you compare this to say a black or silver car ???

thanks.

Definitely more work than silver, but less than black. Probably closer to black as the color is rather dark. Still, it's not bad and from a distance, you can barely tell unless the car is just filthy.

I've only had my TSX for a bit less than a month, but I totally agree. My last car was a silver Integra, and it was easy to keep it looking clean. I haven't washed my TSX yet, but it still looks good- better than black would!

I definitely like the looks of CG and don't see too many of that color around.....Silver is played out a little.

How about that Meteor Silver color? Haven't seen one in person yet......might be a little too baby-bluish for me......but that seems close to Silver on the color wheel and may be similar in dirt hiding??

Agree with all above. It's easier than black but harder than silver to keep up. I've seen the meteor silver. I liked it but I'm not sure how I would feel a year from now. It's one of those like it or don't like it colors, IMO.

My CG only looks dirty during the winter when the road salt sticks to the paint, due to the gray/white contrast. Other than that, I find that "normal" dirt blends in well with the paint, and is difficult to see.

I find that my CG gets A LOT more crapped up than my buddy's Black Prelude and we travel the same roads to and from work every day.

Regardless of how many of each color there are on the road, his question how to keep a car looking great with the least effort. That's one of the main reasons I got the SSM...if you're somewhat anal about keeping your car looking nice without putting a lot of effort into it, SSM is definitely a good choice. But I have to admit that a finely washed CG or NB will turn more heads than a light color.
