Car clay question

I washed my car twice and applied Zaino Z5. When I was finished I looked carefully at the finish and realized that I should have clayed the car before applying the zaino (or any other polish). So the question of the day is," can I clay the car now and just start the process over or do I need to remove the Zaino before claying my car?"

Will dawn liquid soap remove the coat of Zaino I applied earlier today?

the clay should remove the zaino along with the contaminants on your car's surface.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I'm so ticked at myself. I tried to take a shortcut by omitting the clay step (car is only 6 months old) but I should have taken the time to do the job right. Thanks again! Jim

You can clay the car as is and just top whatever Z5 is left from claying with more Z5.

Clay will remove 99% of wax but only a small % of a sealant as it forms a molecular bond with the paint.

So as stated in the above post; clay and re-apply Zaino
