Buff and Polish

Hey I was wondering if anybody buffed and polished their own cars? If so, brand and model number buffer did you buy.. and lastly, any tips on how to buff and polish?

You came to the right place. Yes alot of us in here use buffers. If you are just starting out I would recommend either the "Ultimate Detailing Machine" aka UDM, or the Porter Cable 7424. They are both ORBITAL buffers and you can get amazing results with them without any experiene. They are for a beginner and seasoned Pro although most pros opt for a Rotary buffer. Patrick aka Excel Detail who is a vendor on Acurazine sells the UDM as well as Pads and accessories that you would need to work on your car or others. Theres really only a handful of worthy polishers though. Metabo, Flex, PC, UDM, and I think Rigid makes one (Special order though).
Im also working on a special supplement product for all detailers. Stay tuned........=)
