black car needs to do something..

ok i have a black tsx..
here's my story:
i live in a apartment which the basement garage is used with other people.
these people put somethin on the cieling some shorta fluffy white thing
that supposively absorbs bad air. So they take them off and put new ones on the cieling every couple months. One day i goto my car, i got that white stuff all over my car. It kinda looked like white dust all over my car.
anyways i drove my tsx out and what do i see.... RAIN
Damn first dust then rain?
but i was in a hurry so i just drove out in the rain. What do i see the next day?
my black car was black but not necessarily shiny and really relaly black as it was suppose to. So i washed my car at first and dried it with a clothe. Still no change.
I waxed it but still no change so i was wondering what i should do to get the color back... It looks pretty black at night but not under the sun as it was before.
so.... any suggestions?

If that's the case, yes absolutely.

Do the plastic glove trick. Get one of those cheap clear plastic gloves the guys at the deli use. Put it on and gently glide your hand across the paint. Feel anything?
