Bird poop on a clean car

What's a good way to deal with this situation. The car is freshly clean, or fairly recently washed (and maybe waxed) and you get one giant bird turd on the hood. Is there a simple way to remove it without busting out the whole car wash kit?
Thanks,
Mike Todd

I keep a bottle of QD in the trunk and some mf towels for the smaller ones , just saturate it to rehydrate it then gently wipe off.

If its larger ones I also have a small bottle of distilled water in the trunk and I wet a towel and lay it over the poop to soften it then use the QD etc.

Don't let them sit there as it can be very acidic and etch the clear.

Keep the car well protected as well, keeping the paint waxed/sealed can help prolong the etching effect if you can't get to it immediately.

i pour warm water over the bird poop for it to disintegrate.. it gently loosens the poop where it turns it into liquid form then wipe and use quick detailer to clean it up.

I'm not saying it wasn't designed to do exactly what it says, but I know for a fact it can't reverse etching therefore it does the exact same thing that water/QD will do. But there are those detailers who have to have every product for every single thing.

I had same issue today and took 3 hrs later to remove the white poop from the bumper but can still see the mark or etching , how to fix it

Can I have that section buffed by body shop it's around an inch

Worst is after I cleaned used to some wax compound to remove the mark and it made it worse and scratched that place

Have you ever used it? If not .. then what you heard was marketing. Anything will remove bird shit ... what you worry about is the etching if you don't remove it and that won't remove the etching.

Even a good detail shop can help, .. the way your removing it is by bringing the level of the clear down lower than the deepest part of the etching ..

i will usually go and grab a paper towel or some tp and soak it up with water and put it on top of the crap and let it sit for a few minutes and then just grab the wad of wet tp or towel and swipe it off....dont try to rub it off.....that will result in marring....
