I have a new 2004 Acura TL / Black. My last car was black also and within the first week rock chips were showing up in the paint. I came across the 3M Paint Protection Film, by way of Sheeld Industries (Huntington Beach), and it's by far the best product I've seen in years. It's a clear film that goes on the front of your car, similar to the old black bras, but much better. I had this product installed 3 weeks ago and I couldn't be happier! The website that I went to is located at xpel.com. Also, if you go to the website of 3M and search 3M Paint Protection Film, you'll find some valuable information. In the Jan. issue of Motortrend magazine there was an article about the product on page 122. This product is very good and you honestly cannot see it on the car! The most important thing I found was to make sure the installation is done by someone who really knows what they are doing. I went through a company called Sheeld Industries.
