get the Orange White Black pad set
Orange for deep stuff- white general smoothing and removing of the 1500 grit type stuff and black for 2000 grit level and polishing without effort

Parts stores have claybar by itself- make sure to use a quick detailer spray as lube

I am using Optimal spray wax as final coat over the last polishing
Its a spray on wax with carnuba and synthetic so my car is always wet shiny and metalflake pops big time.
See vendor ExcelDetail for great products

many nxt users use it till bottle empty,, then get a more advanced product

Polishing a car by hand is like masturbating ... seemed like a good idea at the time but when your done you wonder if all the effort was worth it..

As you stated in your first post, "...not the best results." All the more reason to get one.

I just learned what UDM is today.

Ultimate Detailing Machine....aka a buffer

I may definitely consider getting one, because if I clean/polish/wax all by hand it takes me an entire weekend since I am so meticulous

You know what would be kind of cool is if all those who use a UDM, PC, Rotary, add it in your sig.............Just a simple "UDM'r" something to that effect.....
It might give some insight to those who arent using machiners, the actual acceptance and/or popularity of these beneficial machines.....
