Best carpet/floor mat cleaner?

whats the best thing to clean our floor mats and carpets?

I actually had some oil spill in my floor board. had a quart of oil (never opened) and I guess the heat allowed for it to expand, etc just enough for the oil to seap out while I was out of town.

yeah, its not horrible, but not good. noticed it by stepping in the passenger side and almost busting my ass cause my foot slipped as soon as it hit the floor mat.

I like to use Blue Magic. You can get it at Walmart.

Griots worked well for me...

But there are so many options for this it's hard to say one is better then the other. Resolve, shout, steaming it, etc, etc.

well I just did the "Tuff Stuff" on the passenger side and one floor mat.

I think its going to take some heavy duty power washing and scrubbing of the floor mat, but the carpet looks much better. the floor mat got the worse of the oil spill.

Take the floor matt ans throw it on the drive way .. Squirt a lot of Blue Dawn dish soap on it and then wet it and scrub it with a stiff brush and let it sit for 30 min then scrub again and then hang the mat over a wall or fence and hose till no suds come out ... let dry .

Dawn will cut grease/oil.
