On my way to work this morning a plant turned over in my front passenger seat leaving dirt and water everywhere. So, I quickly pulled into a wash place and vacuumed it out. However, it appears the carpet is stained from the dirt in one small place. Anyone got any recomendations on a good carpet cleaner? Thanks.

Let it dry completely then try another dry vac.....

Folex is great - Lowes, homedepot, and i've heard wal-mart and target might have it.

I found Arm & Hammer (here in Canada) Vacuum Free Aerosol Foam Carpet Deodorizer, Meadow Fresh scent, particularly effective on skunk ordors in the house wall-to-wall and on the dog. The dog liked the vacuum-free part of it.

Accidentally feed our dog anything other than beef or carbs and I'm reaching for the Mr. Clean All Purpose Spic and Span [orange] liquid, some water and the scrub brush.

Folex works very well on spilled coffee, even if it's dry, and just-poured red wine.
