Belt Stain

Like a previous poster who had the misfortune of trying "googone" and acetone to remove it, I have a belt stain on the drivers seat. Meaning, the dye or something from my belt has rubbed off on the bolsters in spots less than a square inch (each side) and in a line on the seat back.

It's not that big a deal, but it APPEARS to a casual observer as though the seat is wearing out.

I have tried: Murphy's oil soap (dilute mixture), Woolite (6:1), and a spot remover my shoe repairer gave me called Dyo (I use it on tan leather shoes pretty often, but still tested on small spot first). None removed it. I think the Dyo may have helped, but I was very cautious about either a) rubbing very hard or b) applying more, lest I end up like the other fella. I have also used Meg's rich wipes, and 303 on the seats generally.

I suspect that leather cleaners aren't going to help and that it will be either some sort of spot remover or a small re-dye job that will fix it.

Also, as a TIP, I think the stuff rubbed off the belt once when the Meg's Rich Wipes goo or some 303 was still damp on the seats (both disappear without much wiping in an hour or two after application, but I recall driving somewhere once pretty soon after applying, when things were still damp).

Any helpful hints would be appreciated. Or reccommendations to a D-FW area upholstery shop. Thanks!
