Before applying protectant to interior components/dash/etc...

...What do you use to clean off the surfaces first of dirt/dust build up. If memory serves me correctly, someone said to dust off the dash/components first, then wipe down with rag/soap/water, and then protect with 303 or your product of choice.

Does this sound okay? Same for the leather seats, wipe down with rag/soap/water, allow to dry, then follow up with leather protectant such as Zaino Leather in a Booble?

90% of the time, i just take a clean damp microfibre and wipe everything down....if things are dirty, when is almost never the case, i use some woolite, and maybe once a year i use some meguiars gold class on the dash and seats, followed by a dry microfibre wipe down...

Sometimes when really dirty I use ONR mixed with water, Poorboys World natural look, followed by 303.
