Basque Red TL

Last Sunday I detailed a basque red TL. It needed and exterior and interior detail. The last time I detailed it was about 6 months ago. The interior had lots of dirt and sand in-between seats. The outside seen better days. It snowed recently and the car had sand/salt because of it.

Interior products
OPC 3:1
MF
Vacuum
Brushes
Meguair's glass cleaner

Exterior products
OPC 3:1
Foam canon
Power washer
Varieties brushes
Meguair's wheel brighter
Leaf blower
MF
Claybar
Griot's polisher
Ultimate compound
Collinite 845
Orange flats, blue flats
IPA
Detail spray
Pinnacle black Onyx tire gel

Now here are some pictures.
I started inside first, vacuumed everything and wipe down interior. Made sure to blowed out dirt from under the seats.

The exterior needed a lot of attention, last time it was detailed was about 6 months ago. And it recently snowed so there was a lot of sand/salt from the road.

holy shit! The back seat area of your car is thrashed, do you have kids or a dog? If my kid did that to my car I would beat the piss out of her.

Hey - I'm the owner of that TL. No reason to slap or beat me.All the sand is primarily due to my dog! I take him swimming both days of the weekend and it does gather quite a bit. Strangely enough, the back seat is always covered with Acura's rear seat cover. The dirt and crap in the footwells is just normal everyday stuff that gets caught up in the shoes.I did have Gary put in the new Weathertech Digital Cut floor liners after he finished the inside. So I'm believing that the dirt will be much easier to get rid of.On another note, the car looks better than new! Gary, once again, did a great job. I have Gary do the full detail every 6 months because I'm a fanatic about my TL. I have never ever had anyone detail any of my other cars and I've owned some very nice vehicles. Granted I'm not a fanatic who is inside my TL with a vacuum every day, but I do try to maintain the beauty of the whole Acura experience the best I can.

Thanks Doug, for choosing me to detail your car. I hope this time the Weathertech will help preserve the floors better.
