Bad paint /paint job?
Back bumper and front bumper was recently painted due to an accident. The paint job on it is off. If i look at it directly , paint matches up with the rest of the car perfectly but as i stand up and see the bumper at an angle, the paint looks more purple . My car is a 04 TSX Meteor silver metallic. So was it bad paint or was it due to bad paint job?

They probably didn't match it right... Same thing happened on my dad's MDX, mom scrapped it across a pole, and when we got it repainted it seemed alright, but in some angles you could tell that it totally was off.

I dont think it will be 100% perfect. I had a silver car that had the front bumper and a fender repainted. They tried 2 times but it wont look original unless the blend the paint onto the surrounding areas. The first time it was too light, the second time it was too dark. It will also look different at various angles due to the way the silver flake particles settle while the paint cures. If i looked from the rear, the paint blended pretty well, if i looked from the front, the paint would look a shade too dark.

Same thing happened when I had my TL's hood / front pass. fender repainted after someone hit me. (if you search through some posts here, I had quite a few replies, it would have been around late january I believe). But, same thing - I have a Carbon Gray Pearl TL, under direct light you could tell the half of the hood they blended was lighter. They repainted it and it's much better, although sitll has swirls in it, which I had to fix...
