Auto Detail Shop did a bad job

So I took my Acura to my friend's father's detail shop.

I was expecting them to take care of my car and give it a nice

deep cleaning, and then make it shine.

I told them to only do the exterior - since that's all I wanted.

I come back to find they used something that ate the clearcoat of my wheel

and they left swirls all over my car. I literally had NO swirls in my paint

before I dropped the car off. There were a few little scratches and some

paint that rubbed off of other people cars from door dings, but THATS IT.

They took care of that and decided to swirl the shit out of my paint

and to damage the clearcoat of the polished lip of one of my wheels.

Once the wheel was fucked up you can tell that they were trying to fix it

by using different chemicals because there a few little dings in the fender

above the wheel from them "leaning" on the car.

I'm fucking pissed and asking for a full refund.

They are fixing my wheel.

I can't stop going on about this.

I'm sorry to hear that. Man, I guess you can't even depend on people you know sometimes!

Mmmm, I feel your pain.

You should have that shop pay for your repairs. Care to mention which shop this is so we can warn others?

I gather you have learned your lesson. Trust no one but yourself, spend your money wisely and invest in "yourself", and the proper detailing products........
The knowledge base on this forum in invaluable.......The beauty of this forum is most users check in to answer member's questions. You will find a lot of other forums members post libraries of pics trying to become forum gods or something.
Azine members are actually here to assist..........

I agree with Patrick. Once you know how to detail a car you can spend two minutes with a wannabe detailer and know if they are full of S**T! Good detailers are hard to find so I let NO ONE touch my cars. I learned most of what I know from several detailing forums and applied those techniques until I became proficient.

I'll take pictures, but from what I shared :

Is the damage irreversible?
