Applying Zaino for 1st time...need help...

I'm going to Zaino my 2001 Satin Silver Metallic CL-s...I have 18 inch chrome rims, and comptech exhausts that also need to be cleaned!!!
I have never washed my CL before, or waxed or anything.
Silver cars don't shine to well, but I'm sure with enough Zaino I can pull it off...

SOooO....
Which Zaino products do I need, their site is too confusing...Basically I want it to shine like a mother******!!!

does this process sound about right?:

1. wash w/ dawn, apply thin coat of Z1 in circular motion, and let it haze, but don't remove

2. apply show Z2car polish over Z1 w/ a dampened towel directly over hazed Z1. Let dry for about 1 hr. then remove w/ towel.

3. Apply Z6 (gloss enhancer) Z2, and after i'm done w/ the whole car repeat from step 2..

How does Z1 look when it's hazed?

I heard you should always end up w/ Z2 as the last coat of wax, but does that mean you can't leave Z6 as your last coat?

How could I clean the rims and exaust? should i wasx them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Everyone asks this...do a quick search, you'll find it.

Good luck.

I could send you my users guide - for new folks. It takes the zaino site info, personal use and other users tips into a more easily followed format. Just email me at dennis@mossmans.com if you want it.

Now - yes - you can leave the z6 to the last thing you do - after wiping off your polish. It helps do a few things - but just do it.

With Z1 - you can only apply one coat every 8 hours (and that is only if your temp stays above 72F for that time period. it needs to cure properly before adding another coat. You can skip that concern by not getting Z1, and get ZFX instead. It allows multiple coats - because it has a "rapid cure" enzyme that you add to your Z2 or Z5.

Your Satin Silver wont burn anyones eyes out with shine - but it will be very good - you are also going to get the benefit of amazing durability of the product - it lasts for months - not weeks . . so keep that in mind when you are done . . .

cheers

dennis
