Anyone have a boat?
Recommend using a marine wax. Collinite is what we use on my buddy's boat. Mainly because the wax is formulated for fiberglass and offers great protection for the marine enviroment.

I've been detailing boats for a number of yrs and am a current boat owner. Marnine wax is typically auto wax repackaged at a higher price. I would stay away from carnuba waxes as they just don't hold up in the marine environment (collinite is the most durable carnuba out there just about). Don't be afraid to use something with abrasives in it (stuff you wouldn't use on your car). The gel coat is tough, and needs some sprucing up every now and then. I would never use NU FINISH on my car, but it works great on the boat (chemical cleaners and abrasives). Use something more aggressive if need be with a wheel. I typically follow up with zaino.
