Any advice for new paint?

I just had my front bumper, hood and trunk repainted, any special tips for keeping the new paint protected until I can wax?

Notes: was told not to wax/etc. for 30 days, only car wash.

There are several products you can use that allow the outgasing of new paint. One is Megs #80, which is a light polish, and will provide protection for you. (Although not sustainable, but its something)

Agreed. Meg's #80 will keep the new paint protected until the 60-90 day cure period is over. It is very little protection but enough to keep most contaminants from invading the new finish. Note, you can still use a good wax or polymer for the rest of the car.

Thanks for the advice. The rest of the car is protected with my favorite black magic wetshine wax.

what some spray products, ie. any QD'r or SW? i think careful use with a microfiber should be safe, just dont use a lot of pressure.
