AH! Swirl Marks!
AH! Swirl Marks!
Okay, i bought a PC random orbit buffer and the sonus das pad kit to try to get rid of my swirl marks. i used it once on it, but i didnt get the results i was looking for. there are still a lot of swirl marks! I used the green pad... Can somebody please help me. and i already have all the zaino. thanks.
Ya, more info please.
What polish did you try? What was your process (how long did you work it into an area, how much did you use, what speed was the PC at?), how much pressure were you using? Did you get any results at all? How bad are the swirls exactly?
All of that info would help a lot towards us being able to recommend how to get rid of them.

okay. i used the pc with z-pc and i didnt work it in too much because i was afraid of messing up my paint. i had it on 4 or 5 speed for a while but got scared and lowered it because i didnt want to ruin the paint.
That's the beauty of the PC, it's foolproof. You have to initiate an action that would cause damage to the surface. It doesn't create heat to burn the paint and doesn't require any additional pressure other than the wieght of the PC. I start at about 3.5-4 and then increase to 5-5.5 in order to work in the polish. You should read Autopia's "How To Use The PC". It's really not that difficult to operate.
