AGH! Exterior scuffs and grease!

Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! I should've used my money I spent on the Acura to buy a house with a garage! I am now up to THREE scuff/scratches on my 4 month old car -damn apartment kids and their f-in bikes and scooters! PLUS the dealership left grease on the roof when they fixed the sunroof rattle. Let's not forget paint splatter from an unmarked road painting project. Is a clay bar going to help with these wounds to my car?

You might want to try a mild cleaner wax first, rubbing lightly and monitoring results. After filling in a couple of rock chips with paint, I lightly sanded the resultant paint bump with 600 grit and touched the clear coat next to the spot. Using Mequires cleaner wax eliminated the light scratch marks. I am not an expert on paint finishes but this worked for me. You also may want to read a military manual on wire tripped claymores as used in parking lot situations. Ha. Seizeya.

Thanks! I am thinking of getting a motion sensing alarm with the flame throwers that the rich guys get on their Maybachs and Bentleys. I like the Claymore idea though, probably be cheaper too. Hmmm.
