just a quick question, is it really needed to take off the old coat of wax b4 putting on a new coat, would this be done by claying or soem other method

If your completely happy with the appearance, (looks, depth, richness, clarity etc) its not necessary. Just keep in mind, waxing/sealing doesnt really change the appearance of the paint. Gloss, yes, depth and clarity no.
So to answer your question, no, you dont have to strip the wax. (With one exception)
If your applying a sealant (polymer) over a Carnauba, yes.
Sealant over sealant, no.
Carnauba over sealant, no.
If your reapplying a Carnauba wax, no.
